Eng. Suliman Almazroua has served as chief executive officer of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) since its creation. By enabling integrated growth across four key sectors – Energy, Industry, Mining and Logistics – NIDLP aims to transform Saudi Arabia into an industrial powerhouse and global logistics hub, with a focus on driving local content and leveraging the Fourth Industrial Revolution, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Prior to his appointment as NIDLP CEO, Eng. Suliman served as executive director of the National Transformation Program (NTP), which was established to ensure the achievement of the 37 strategic objectives laid out in Vision 2030. In parallel, Eng. Suliman acted as director-general of the Delivery and Rapid Intervention Center, where he managed a team of more than 90 professionals to support the delivery of Vision 2030. Before joining these government programs, Eng. Suliman worked in several technical, managerial and leadership roles in the private sector. He began his career at Saudi Aramco on the technical side and moved into management after that.
In 2011, Eng. Suliman worked for the company in the United States, where he helped establish its North America Satellite Research and Development Centers, improve cybersecurity across all its international offices and led the technical management of the company’s healthcare sector. Eng. Suliman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and his master’s degree in business administration from Hull University (UK).
He also has received qualifications from numerous global leadership programs, including in Program Management from Rice University (USA), from the Executive Program of Harvard University (USA) and from the Advanced Management Program from the International Institute for Management Development (Switzerland). In addition to his role with NIDLP, Eng. Suliman serves as a member of the boards of directors for Wadi Taiba Company, the Marafiq Company and the World Economic Forum’s Fourth Industrial Revolution Center
