Saskatchewan is a global leader in agriculture, supplying high-quality grains, oilseeds, pulses, livestock, and agri-food products. With over 40% of Canada's arable farmland, it is the world's largest exporter of key commodities, including dry peas, lentils, durum wheat, canola, mustard seed, and oats. In 2024, the province's agri-food exports reached $18.5 billion. Saskatchewan is also Canada's second-largest cattle producer and accounts for approximately 30% of Canada’s bioscience sector.
