The Red Sea project will be one of the largest tourist destinations in the region, with luxury hotels across five islands and two inland resorts to be completed by 2023. The project is located on over 28,000 square kilometers of pristine land and water, in addition to a new international airport, yacht marina, championship golf courses with 200 square kilometers of pristine coastline, and more than 90 pure islands, it will be a special economic zone and will have its own jurisdiction. The project is expected to contribute $5.9 billion to the kingdom's GDP. The Red Sea project aims to attract domestic and international tourism.
