Build-up starts for all SPACE ONLY exhibitors with appointed stand contractors or building their own stand.

Friday, 25 September 2026

00:01 – 22:00 hrs

Build-up continues for all SPACE ONLY exhibitors. All stand construction should be completed by this time. If you need to work through the night, please ask the show operations team onsite for permission.

Saturday, 26 September 2026

08:00 - 20:00 hrs

Shell scheme exhibitors are allowed access to their stands. All contractors/exhibitors must exit the exhibition halls by 20:00. Strictly NO late night or overnight work will be permitted.

More Information For Build-Up Days

  • On the last day of build-up (26 September), Space-only exhibitors will be allowed only for stand dressing, decoration, last-minute touches and cleaning.
  • Contractors/exhibitors found painting, cutting, sawing, sanding or constructing stands in any way within this timeframe will incur a non-compliance fee that will be deducted from the security deposit.
  • Please refer to the Warning Regulations & Non-Compliance Fees for information.
  • All contractors/exhibitors (Space Only / Shell Scheme) must exit the exhibition halls by 20:00
  • Strictly NO late night or overnight work will be permitted, as the remaining time will be used for deep cleaning, of the halls before show opening.
  • Entry to the loading bays will stop from 19:30 for all deliveries and contractors, however exit after this time will still be permitted. Venue security will conduct a security sweep throughout the venue.

Stand Guidelines

Space only - Single-level stands – maximum height recommended is 4 meters  Please note that for Exhibitors at Hall 5 tent structure, the maximum height for any stand construction is 4m.  Double deck structures are not allowed in all halls. 

Space only - Single level stands maximum height permitted is 5 metres - Structural calculations must be provided based on the complexity of the stand

Hanging banners, cubes etc. position will be subject to rigging points availability/location and is subjected to Sponsorship and Branding Fee.

Please note banners will be hung within the perimeter of your stand and are not allowed to be overlooking a neighboring stand. Banner needs to be at the front or central to the stand space. Rigging is not allowed in Hall 5.

Exhibitor & Contractor Badge Info

  • Exhibitors accessing the halls must display their exhibitor badges at all times.
  • Exhibitor badges can be ordered through the Exhibitor Name Badges Form under compulsory forms.
  • Submission deadline date is 07 September 2026. Please contact the show operations team on operations@thesaudifoodshow.com for details on exhibitors’ access to the halls.
  • Contractor vehicle access passes will be sent via email or can be collected from the organiser’s office for build-up and break-down upon submission of security deposit
  • Contractor badges can be collected from the organiser’s office and allocated locations for build-up and break-down upon submission of security deposit.

  • dmg contractor badges can be bought from organiser’s office reception area or contractor village (location TBC) for build-up upon submission of security deposit and contractor management fee.

  • Badges will be charged at SAR 15 per badge.

  • No access will be allowed to anyone without a badge.

  • Exhibitors accessing the halls must display their exhibitor badges at all times.

1. If exhibitors require stand maintenance, their contractors can access the exhibition halls daily after the show closes. The contractors should notify the onsite operations team.  

2. It is strictly prohibited to store any items behind exhibition stands or in any area of the venue that is not a designated storage area managed by the official freight agent.

3. Exhibitors are responsible for arranging the removal of empty crates and boxes and/or storage until they are required for re-shipment at the end of the exhibition. If items are found behind exhibition stands or in any area of the venue that is not a designated storage area, it will be considered as rubbish and will be disposed of.

4. Storage is available and can be pre-booked through the official freight contractor.

Breakdown Days

Wednesday, 29 September 2026
Time: 19:30 – 00:00 hrs

  • Stand Electrics will be switched off at 19:30 hrs.
  • Exhibitors who need power on their stand during breakdown must order their stand electrics through GES.
  • Removal of exhibits & dismantling of stands / All shell scheme exhibitors must clear their products and belongings as shell scheme stands will be dismantled during the night after the show closes.
  • Contractors found dismantling or packing their stands before show close at 19:00 hrs will incur a non-compliance fees.
  • Exhibits must be cleared from the stands by 01:00 hrs, 30th September.
  • The organiser and the venue cannot be held responsible for any items left overnight in the halls.

Thursday, 30 September 2026
Time: 00:01 - 16:00 hrs

  • All contractors’ trucks should only go to the holding area when their stand is fully dismantled.
  • The organiser and the venue are not responsible for items left in the hall during breakdown.
  • Stand fittings and waste materials must be cleared from the halls & removed by 15:00 hrs.
  • A non-compliance fee of SAR 10,000/- will be charged if rubbish is left behind and will be deducted from the security deposit.
  • Exhibitors will receive a detailed breakdown letter through Email & exhibition whatsapp community 2nd day of show.
